What are the different LDTG membership levels?
There are three lifetime tiers: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Your tier is based on the total number of group trips you’ve completed and how many referrals you’ve made.
What are the full benefits of Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers?
Bronze Member
- 1 completed group trip
- 3 qualified referrals
- Perks: Welcome kit, access to members-only chats, regional events, birthday shout-outs
Silver Member
- 5 completed trips, 5 referrals, 1 domestic event
- Perks: All Bronze perks, early access to new trips, free digital guide, upgrade request, 10% off select excursions, bring-a-friend pass
Gold Member
- 10+ trips, 7 referrals, continued engagement
- Perks: All Silver perks + VIP gift set, concierge support, free travel voucher after 10 trips or 7 referrals, recognition at events
How do I maintain my tier?
If you do not participate in at least one LDTG group trip within a calendar year, your membership perks will pause for 12 months.
If your membership remains inactive for more than one year, you will be required to reapply through the full Insider registration process to reactivate your status.
Is my membership tier permanent?
Your membership is lifetime-based, but maintaining tier perks requires active participation.
You must travel on at least one LDTG group trip per year to remain active.
If inactive beyond one year, your account will move to paused status and later require reapplication for reinstatement.
How do I move up a tier?
Your tier is automatically upgraded once you meet the trip and referral criteria. We will notify you when you level up.
How do referrals work?
Referrals are counted when someone you referred books and completes a trip with LDTG.
- Bronze: 3 referrals
- Silver: 5 referrals
- Gold: 7 referrals
What is a “Bring-a-Friend” Pass?
Silver and Gold members receive a once-a-year invitation to bring a friend who gets a discount or welcome gift. Applies to select trips only.
How do I join the Facebook or WhatsApp groups?
Once your membership form is complete and you’ve booked a trip, you’ll be invited to both the private Facebook group and the WhatsApp trip chat during travel.
How do referrals work for tier status?
We love when you spread the word about LDTG — but not all referrals count toward tier upgrades.
To count as a qualified referral for Bronze, Silver, or Gold tier status:
- The person you refer must book an escorted group trip through LDTG
- They must reserve their own room (not as your roommate)
- The trip must be officially confirmed and paid
Referrals to non-group or independent trips do not count toward tier progression, though you may still be eligible for a thank-you gift if the referral books a trip.
You can absolutely refer friends to Lyric’s Destinations in general — but for the purpose of earning your tier, we’re specifically tracking referrals for escorted group trips only.
What are the keychain tokens, and who gets them?
Keychain Tokens are collectible, destination-specific charms given exclusively to LDTG Insiders who travel on escorted group trips. Each token represents a destination you’ve experienced with the community—serving as a keepsake and symbol of connection within the Insider family.
New Insiders receive their first keychain with membership approval. A new token is added for each qualifying group trip they attend, gradually building a personalized travel collection that reflects every journey taken with Lyrics Destinations Travel Group.
